Leisure and Relaxing Ambiance

Hehe.... Ever since I got my new set of home entertainment, enjoying the perfect and sweet surround sound in front of the computer is the thing I am looking forward everyday. It may sounds ridiculous to somebody, or might everybody but still this is something I really satisfied on.

Recalling that rainy day and I was inside the shop comparing its brother version, which is slightly not as wonderful as this one, literally I was in dilemma on which one to get. 4 or 5 times I remembered pondering in between them to taste the real difference between them. Eventually the shopkeeper helped me to decide which to get, however I didn't know whether was he lying to me so that he could earn more allowance from me or he was just being frank. Anyway, yea, I got the better version of sound system.

On the way home I used double plastic bag to cover it, just to make sure the rain doesn't get my "baby" wet, while allowing the rain fall upon myself, completely. Though, the water couldn't put off my enthusiasm to open and fix it up at the moment I get home. And of course, at the instance the sweet melody flew into my auditory and processed in my mind, I know this is the one I dreamed of! Not being repent of owning it!

And from that day onwards the living room is my leisure palace with relaxing ambiance, from lightings to speaker, visual to audio, everything! Thank you mom and dad =D

iPhone 4~~

After longing for like few thousand years, finally I can hold my iPhone in my palm, firmly and tightly. Jubilation run through my spine when I firstly go an email saying that my phone had been dispatched on Friday and since then it is no more 24 hours a day for me. The weekend takes forever to go through and I reckon this is my first time ever wishing that weekend could pass faster lol.

While in this morning (25/10/2010), I was again thrilled with the door bell ringing by the delivery man. I am not alien I couldn't understand what does "riiingg......" means but today I know it was saying that "your lovely iPhone is hereee......" haha!!! With trembling hands I opened up the box and I saw it is just shining to me and can't wait to slot in my sim card and activate to use it! Sadly the cutting process of my micro sim card delays the process, anyhow, I still managed to fit in the sim slot and start using my phone!!

Another catastrophe is with no reason I couldn't get access to the internet. If that really happens it is really pointless to use an iPhone here due to all kinds of fantastic and wonderful apps require internet.. Somehow or other I couldn't wait to fix it and popped into a local store to seek for help, resulting in vain that they couldn't offer any hand and I have to call to the customer service. After having a short chat, well it wasn't that short (took around 15 mins) I managed to fix the phone back to normal again.

Ah well, though having great pleasure of owning the iPhone, but not having a great healthy to enjoy the happiness! Gotta have more rest tonight to take the delightful of all the joys. All hail healthy and iphone lol~

Laziness Lost Miserable

Uni has started for two weeks, and till now I am still being lazy and finding all kinds of excuses to procrastinate all the studies and works. I am so doomed, yes I know, what can I do to help myself? Frankly sometimes it wasn't that I don wan to work on my things but just I couldn't, like facing some obstacles doing research or gathering information. Yes again I know it is because I am not determined enough or whatsoever, but still, haih. Having lots of hard times recently, not being smooth for everything and it really causes miserable for the life. Hope everything gets well soon... lol~

Birm Bham Brum...

At last, after having 3 and half months of loong summer break, I have come back to this place, Birmingham! Well, it is indeed having mixed feelings of looking forward to another new year of studies with more new friends, in the same time feeling reluctant to leave my lovely hometown Tawau with a bunch of idiots~ lol..

Haha, I really had a lot of great moments with them, and doing something which we never did together before. Alcohol is one thing, but I pretty enjoy the time after drinking and exchanging views on everything from friends among us to political view towards the country. Sounds ridiculous and weird, but true, it is my pleasure moment ever!

Somemore, having better chance to get closer to someone and everyone makes another highlight for the holiday! em.. jogging, chilling, chit chatting.. all these would really be the cherished moments and hopefully it will last forever =p

And now, typing and reminiscing in the same time, at 10.47pm in front of the laptop, feeling really uneasy and wishing the time could stop at somewhere 2 months before. Haha, how silly is it and the only thing could do is looking forward to the coming gathering again..

Year 2 in University of Birmingham, here I come!

~~Sun sun sun~~

Lol, I can compare my skin colour with the white ppl here initially, thanks to the heredity from my mom though, yet after yesterday where I had been under the hot sun for the whole afternoon, I have become a typical msian now~ slightly yellow black skin colour haha..

Oh well, it become worse today as I got to work on some surveying measuring thingies for the WHOLE day, from 10am till 4pm. Wow, thanks to the Garnier sun protection spray I still managed to keep myself kinda fair? It sounds gay, but, I reckon we Asian ppl doesn't really enjoy working under the sun as the western do, do we? lol

It kind of reminds me about what I had done during the PLKN as well.. my face would always facing the direction of the sunlight, ie my back is facing to the "lovely" sun. It is kinda fun though, like always hiding from the sun and the sun tries it very best to burn on you =.=''..... Humm.. I still have another day left for the surveying week, wish that there would be some clouds helping me to block the sunlight~~ haha

Life with obstacles~

Lol undoubtedly life is full of obstacles and everything always doesn't come as what you wish. And I had encountered such problems in these days, that really troublesome and make us difficult. Haha but what to do, just to face it optimistically and try to compromise with the situation~

Today, I had been to a new place myself, the Walsall to get something. It is a lovely small town and worth to hang out for an afternoon with some friends. Relaxing and peaceful pace of life, that is literally Tawau haha..

Well, exactly two weeks later I will be on the plane at this moment flying back to Malaysia~ 9 months, it just gone in a blinking of an eye. Time really flies and by the time I came back I would be in 2nd year of the uni~ oh gosh.....~

Doomsday~

Finally, the last paper of the exam has finished at 12.30pm!!! By right I would be happy and relief because there is only some practical test left in the week after. However, I hardly can make myself think that as I don't really feel too good towards the exam... Well well, sometimes I'm just feel pathetic of my stupidness.. why can't I figure out how to solve those questions? haiz....... and this thought had being magnified again in the paper today... humm... hope I don have to say Hello to uk again in august~~

The Fateful day~~

Lol, being "morning called" by my dad this morning.. Haha, it has been quite a long time didn't actually "woke up" by my parents.. Nostalgic, but yea, happy.. Lol~ Today would be a wonderful day ^^

So, the fateful day has finally arrived! Tomorrow would be my first subject to be examined! Being asked whether am I ready for it? I don't know, as usual. I studies what I needed to, yet feeling unsecured, again as usual. Hope that I could be doing well and score to the best! Not to mention how many times I revised for the same materials, to the point that I could almost remember which term is from which exact page of the notes =.='' Ah well, god bless me tomorrow...~~

Haiz haiz haizzz~

Aiiyo.... What can i do to make myself to put full attention in my studies? Always being distracted by some other things, not distract to be true, just that i can't really focus in my studies.. Maybe my subconscious just wants me to get away from books, notes and everything!! Omg =.=''

Well, another sad thing to be mentioned, my english seems to be remaining at the same level. I see no improvement at all compared to the time i started a new page of life in this continent. That is really a depressing knowledge for me, even though i tried to learn it by watching more english movies and imitating the way the talk. Yet, all these proved in vain, for now..

And, today is the day for counting the votes of the election, but, who gave it a damn? no offence, just i couldn't seemed to bother these.. lol~

Recharging days~!!

After being "studied hard" for quite a few days, I had decided to take a day off, to get away from books and notes and whatever related to studies! Lol~ and yet, my slacking project is more than successful as it was planned to be - I took 3 days off!!! haha........ T.T

On 30th of April, in conjunction to celebrate the last day of April and welcoming to the approaching doomed exam month, I went to watch Iron Man 2 with few friends at late 11pm~ Wow, who said that movie is not fantastic? I think it is great! Just a bit too much of Love thingy involved in the movie where it doesn't really suit it~ (in my personal opinion) As that movie is more to the funny and something that surprises us instead of.... love? lol... no hard feelings ok~

While on 1st and 2nd of May, humm... What's for this time... Alright, a welcoming party for a whole new month!! Again, we went to KFC, Ikea and movie again (in a smaller screen yet cosy sofa) until 1am at night~ humm =.='' ah well, again slept almost at the sunrise moment for these two days....

Ok, is time to study in this week~ Come on exam you monster!! Gonna go pass you in 20 days!!!

~Relief~

Alright! Something I've been longing for has got an answer, and "everything" has been settled. All I need to do now is..... again, "wait"? =.='' fine fine.... That's what I can only do right now by the way, just finger crossed they could have higher working efficiency ^^

And, I had gone to Samuel's place for dinner tonight.. Wow, I didn't know that Liz could cook that well, way more beautiful than mine (ok, I'm not trying to mention how well I could cook, just that I've been cooking for the past few months and my stomach is still functioning well now). Haha, again I have to thank them for offering me such a wonderful night. Yes, I will give you guys back the same thing when I am able to ^^ stay tuned!

Another thing I need to pray hard for, is the damn-est thing ever - revision!! Lol, slacking for 8 months and is time for me to brush up and mind and prepare for the exam. Well well, until now, as you know.... humm... better not to mention anything, but start working!! hopefully, will be successful tmr!! ^.^

Bday Parrtayy 23-04-2010

Yea, I went to a friend namely Clement's birthday blast last night! Basically, I would say that to be a concert night instead of party as we spent more than 6 hours in the karaoke room, starting from 9pm till 5am next morning! Getting higher and higher as if got a shot of Adrenalin to each and everyone of us, we barely let the room quiet for more than 10 second except for the intersection between each songs!! Yes, it was indeed a blast!

Besides, we got our first time on the green fairy - Absinthe as well! It is really a stuff man. Sensory organs on your face would get sticked all together I believe, the moment you swallow the green liquid to your throat! Haha, any describing phrase that I put here would be an understatement and you can't imagine how that goes unless you give it a shot by your own!

Another thing is, I see their true friendship in the party as well. In fact, among them were friends for at least 2~3 years, and it is really a good thing to see friends gathering together and celebrate a birthday party for you. Haha, nope I don't need any paper to rub off my tears, it is just sensitive~

Twu twu twu~

Once upon a time, Tawau was used to be a paradise for everybody. But for god's sake there is always some ppl like to create some chaos and mayhem to break the peace! well, there is a whole new break-in case happened in our motherland lately, which is tremendously over as if there is no law in this country - Breaking in using a gas barrel!! Yea, nowadays the robbers aren't afraid of anything, they will rather using the easiest way to break in than sneaking into a house quietly without catching attention. Ironic isn't it? Seems like the bad ones manoeuvre the world and the good could only remain silenced as well as being bullied.

Haiz, for god's sake may all these crime doesn't happen to anyone of us... Daddy, mummy and my fellow friends, please take extra awareness...

Outrageous Day 15-o4-2010

Feeling emo several days continuously without any reason, just like the sky is falling apart, gloomy and helpless. Yet, I am still consider as the lucky guy, at least in today, I got to know something worse are happening in the world right now.

7.1 earthquake happened in China yesterday, and super volcanic eruption in Iceland today! What the hell? 2 catastrophes occurred in between 1 sunrise and sunset! Is it signing on something? Can we really help in preventing, or maybe save ourselves or the loved ones to get rid of facing all the suffering incidents? God...

Anyhow, another tragedy happened in the day, one of my friend got bashed up on his head. Crimson red blood was flowing all over his cloth, shorts and instantly blood pool was formed on the floor. You can't imagine how horrible when you observed the scene with your very eyes. I was also terrified when I hold the towel with blood bath on it to give the wound some pressure trying to stop the blood keep flowing out. Oh my goodness! And that f***ing bastard refused to send him to the hospital, saying some rubbish that he will get heal automatically, just apply some ice on it will do. BOLLOCKS! IT IS TOTALLY BULL SHIT MAN!! Use his tiny little asshole brain to think before uttering a word, for god's sake!

Well, after settling my friend's stuff in the hospital, got him registered and treatment, another issue popped up. Shall my friend press charged on the assaulter? Yes he definitely should. However, considering all sorts of matter, he has to think about it again. But what got on my nerve is, that bastard is putting pressure, and sort of threatening my friend not to press any charged on him, or else he will counter-charged back! What the hell? What on the earth is happening now? the bad rules the world and the good can only remain silence? His words really boiling our blood to the extent that I would literally give him a big fist on his hateful cheek! Haiz.... As a law abiding citizen, we can't do that. So, just leave everything to the police...

Where is our humanity? What do we learn about respectful in the school, from our parents or in our life? Where are all the moral values gone to? .......... Please take care of ourselves all the time. Mind our languages, actions and the paramount matter, please, RESPECT each other!

Prague~

Finally, a wonderful and fantastic journey comes to its end on 31st of March 2010. This as the first time I organised a trip out from UK is considered as successful, everything goes smoothly and accordingly to the plan. Thanks everyone for the cooperation as well ^^

First of all, Prague indeed is a lovely place to visit. The buildings, landmarks are unique, typical Eastern Europe style where we can always find them in James Bond movie @.@ small pedestrian streets, bricks buildings etc. It feels really good walking in those places, especially after the night fall. At night, all different colours could be observed on the buildings, which again beautify the whole town area.

Another thing has to be mentioned is their desserts!! For those people who fancy about desserts, Prague would be another heaven for you! Even the simple bread with cream sandwiched in it is wonderful enough for your tongue yelling to taste for the 2nd piece. Hehe.. There are some photos about how David enjoyed the desserts in facebook will be uploaded soon by Brian. Stay tuned!!

As for the people, as i aware, they aren't acting friendly to tourist. I don know whether that was the way they speak normally, or some other reason. Maybe just because English isn't their main language, so... ~~ haha.. what mattered the most is still we could enjoy our trip very much~

Humm.... is almost time to plan for next trip... oh no~~~~ @.@

Human bond..

Haha.. communication between people is really crucial. I had not been talking for the whole morning as I was staying in the room and had lunch alone. For some reasons my mood somehow is affected by "not uttering a word" to anybody, and feel a little depress. Nevertheless, when i met a friend in the uni, and had just a little chat with him, my mood had a drastic change and my day was being enlighten up. Even though we were just talking about daily stuff, and yes, it really mattered a lot. Lol... so, don underestimate the bond between human and human. It can affect you psychologically and performance for the rest of the day~ ^^

Can't resist~~

Money, is something that you don have to worry to give it a place to spend.. Haiz, another sad day as advertisement and notice boards were everywhere on the streets - 50% sales, Mid-season Clearance! Oh my gosh, how could a we refrain ourselves from stepping into those shops with fascinating clothings and the stood models were seemed waving their hands to welcome you. Really... It is terrible to see something that you like but you couldn't own it.. lol~ haha, have to think wisely before deciding which one to own~ only ONE~!!!

Towards the end~

Yea, eventually it is the end of the Spring term, where it implies I've done my 1st year syllabus! Well well, basically we had only 22 weeks of lectures per year. Sounds very few, but true, it is. 11 weeks per term, for winter and spring term, while 2 weeks for revision in summer term. Time flies, for real. I can't believe that my first year has done, and would officially put a full-stop after my exam.

Thinking aback, I have learnt more things on daily life than my school work. How to deal with life and people, learning to solve problems, manage own things, etc.. I am really grateful for having all these chances to learn, and taking this opportunity i would express my appreciation to my parents who gave me all these what I am owning now, and to what they will be providing for the following years... Haha....

I am not meant to be sentimental~ just some thoughts came up when it come to a realization that this week is the final week for the term~ good luck~~

Life = Learn

As we always aware, there is lots of things for us to learn throughout our life. Or should we put it another statement, we can't finish learning everything.. Yes, I've gained some more new experience of life which we will be facing in the future, each and everyone of us.

Humbling yourself before communicating with others, that's what a simple moral then we always heard of. But, how to use it practically? It needs practice. Another easy way to use it is by praising others. Compliments aren't only used for flattering, but a simple praising may just simply enlighten the day, for both parties - you and the one listening. So, why not? Just go, open up your mouth, and speak out all the good things. And then, what about the bad things? well, keep them for yourself, and use that as a mirror to reflect to yourself so that you won't repeat the same mistake that you, or maybe others will dislike~

That's the 1st lesson for today~~

Badminton Freak~

Wow.. It has been quite a long time I didn't play a really hardcore badminton game. Well, thanks to Loucia, a HK coursemate of mine invited me to join the badminton group today~ Surprisingly most of the group members are msian, and they are really fantastic in badminton. I am so excited to play with them, but pondering whether they will feel reluctant to play with a newbie guy like me... Yea, I've faced some hit today, and it come to a realization that I'm not that good in badminton~ Hopefully I could improve more while playing with them, in condition they willing to let me join @.@ lol~~

Resting - Travel Further

As the saying goes, "resting is for us to hav more strength to travel further". Yes, I've experienced it today myself! haha.. It has been quite a while, probably 6 months long, I didn't have an afternoon nap before~ And today, I recall the feeling and enjoy it very much~ Well, it really helps as I felt more energitic at night, at least won't feel sleepy when doing the coursework~ Yea, people, don hesitate to get a nap if you got that time~!! ^^

What a blissful morning! Sunshine as early as 6.30am from very east of my room, spraying its warm and radiation to me but proved in vain as the time I got off from my cosy duvet was already 7.15am~ However, I've been fooled by my hardworking personality as the morning lecture had been cancelled!!! I should have make decision not to attend this particular lecture as everyone does, but~ humm... wasted an hour for walking to and coming back from uni.. So, I've learnt some lesson in this fateful day - Laziness sometimes may bring you fortune, and hardworking doesn't conquer the goodness of the day forever! :p

Birmingham - Badminton

hahaha~ It is really exciting to watch a match in the arena in person! And in fact, this is my first time to watch a major competition with my very eyes, screaming and supporting for my own country! Wow, I didn't know I would do that initially, but the environment would definitely turned you into person like that~ yes, eventually, with all the cheering of msian supporters, our Datuk Lee got his first Major Title in All England!! Wonderful~

Well, is that human always won't be satisfy for what do they have in their hand? and will always envious about what do other ppl have by themselves? haha... All of them from Manch said that Birm is quite a nice city.. Yea, the city centre is pretty good for me as well, just that I'm staying in the middle of nowhere, which the transport matter would be pain in the ass each time I hang out. Secondly, thanks to Msia Delight for providing us the taste of our motherland, where we can find the similar food from our country~ Everyone brought back nothing but compliments for the food.. luckily~ haha......

Basically, I had another fantastic weekend with friends, and had a good experience to watch an official competition in person!

Pride? Dignity?

Putting down myself to ask for a solution in the coursework.... It may sounds arrogant, but what mattered is that my brain seems to got rusted.. I have to ask my coursemate for the solution, but not solving myself... Well, seems I have to work extra harder to maintain myself at the position, and not letting my parents down as well......

just a random day~

3rd day of fasting! everything seems going smoothly, at least i'm not facing any crucial side effect for not consuming any food. However, I felt dizzy and headache in the afternoon during lecture, maybe because of not having a single drip of water. To clearify that, I used to drink a lot of water every now and then. So, maybe my body still hasn't tuned to "fasting setting" yet. haha...

Another blissful news of the day, with the beautiful sunshine from the pitch blue sky, my beloved professor announced that his coursework due date would be 1st week of summer term! yay, at least one of the courseworks doesn't have to be done before Easter holiday~

However, there are 2 courseworks and a class test which are the paramount for this spring term. Right now, I am putting my best step forward to get it finish, before the next one being issued to us~ Finger crossed that I am determined enough to complete it!! Although I gave it a try since last weekend and I have to say that set of paper could bring me to a state of lethargy fairly easily~ @.@ ah well....~

1st Ever Fasting + Wonderful Sky

Today, o6.o3.2o1o is the first ever I observed a whole blue sky!! There is not a single cloud,no nothing on the sky.. Only a pitch blue with wonderful sunshine!!

Yet, in this vry shiny day, it is also my very first time to fast in my life! Yea, it would last for 19 days until Naw-ruz, the Baha'i New Year.. Well, at first sight I thought it will be an easy task, just don comsume any food or drinks, why would be that hard? Yet, the thought immediately vanished from my mind after 2 hours of fasting. My mouth is so dry that I'm like the dog hunger for water! Also, listening to the concert from my stomach isn't enjoying as well, though I pretty fancy about a real music concert =.= And I wonder when will my stomach acid break through my stomach and cause a hole for it! lol, just kidding~

However, this would be a good training and I definitely will gain something physically and spiritually. A good chance to train my will power! Keep it up!! *stomach is playing the drum again*

Knackered Day!! 06.03.2o1o

It is really tiring to play 2 roles in a day!! Rambo in the morning and Datuk Lee in the afternoon!!! Well, paintball is really fun, and you don hav to worry about the clothing problem. They will provide the full set of uniform + body armor, yet the only thing to worry is you will get bruise if you got shot which is pretty painful~ And yes, of course, I got shot on my butt and another on my knee.. haha...

As the sun rises right to the top of our head, we took the train back to the city. Well, I really appreciate for the delay of the train or else we would definitely missed it! (just appreciate for today, not at the time when i in rush :-p) Well, as usual, got a nap in the train journey.. Not being lazy or sleeping pig, just that I have to restore some energy for badminton!

Well, I've watched some badminton tutorial last week which recommended by one of the badminton mate, yea I try to apply it in the match. It is no doubt very useful and I am happy to master it! I wish to play more badminton with more ppl, but this is quite an expensive sport where we need rent the court, and buying the shuttlecock would be the pain in the ass. It is not cheap I could say.

And night time, naturally I will be lethargic as I have a little too over in the activity. So I just accidentally fall asleep without switching off my computer and light until next morning 6am @.@ It was really a kanackered day!

~~Prague~~

Yea!! Finally we had made up our mind on our easter vacation - Prague!! It is one of the places where I really wish to go since I first came to UK, and now it comes true!!

Well, this thought just popped into my mind last Sunday, I wonder why though. Well then by discussing this with Ramsah, he shows excited and turned into a state of jubilation. As expected, he immidiately spread this matter to Wendy, and we had sort of made a decision for our Prague trip.

Basically, this trips sounds really good as it doesn't cost very much, (at least it is under my estimation) especially it travels to eastern europe. Thanks to its reasonable price, we manage to gather quite a number of ppl coming together with us. We could create some wonderful moment together for our first year, and first out-going trip! By having some canny members, we managed to solved out tickets and accommodation problem smoothly as well..

It may sounds exaggerated, but still.. Prague, here we GO!!!

~Be Straight~

After having a conversation with a precious friend, I've learnt something agian. In fact, being straight forward is crucial in maintaining a relationship, no matter with friends, family and between a couple.

"u r the best friend of mine among good friends" that is indeed a heart-touching words coming out from a friend's mouth. I had sort of disappointed him by not being sincere to him enough, yet wat he wants is just a straight from me. I can barely do that cause i'm not used to speak everything of myself to anyone. Is just character problem i suppose to say, nothing personal.

May we will have a whole new day by tomorrw, and forget about all the sorrowful things~~ cheersss~~

Destiny~

I learnt this quote from a movie, where a man was almost giving up on his task, while the wise old man advise him to be determined. As for us, I think we can apply this principle when we met something that seems to be predestined, yet in fact is up to us on how should we face the obstacle. We have to manoeuvre on every action and responsible for every single consequences from our decision.

Chinese New Year - Reunion

A simple and easy cny reunion for me and my part of my gang of friends in Manchester in 19/2 till 21/2. Well, again, I've spent my weekend in manchester to meet up my friends. Having nocturnal life for 2 days, this is the 2nd time we played until we can watch the sunrise from Hill Quays. Although is unhealthy, yet we find it really fun. Perhaps this is the way how we having fun together, gaming and talking nonsense + rubbish, burst into laughter by some cool jokes. In the period of time, there is no phonies, only sincerity and happiness. Even a place called wonderland is also none other than having all these fantastic moment.

Well, it is fairly hard to get back to school life after having so much of joy. Like Selena, she could hardly feel going back to school either. Lol, we were really into the life of playing, without doing any work. Come on holidays~ We're waiting for you~~~

Chinese New Year - Tiger

Gong Xi Fa Chai, and Happy Chinese New Year!! Yea, my very first time celebrating the Chinese biggest event of the year -Chinese New Year abroad without the company of family, friends and homeland. It is fairly pathetic to celebrate cny all alone while the significant point of the event is "reunion". Fortunately the Malaysian Society had organised a new year dinner. With exciting and thrilling flow through the body that night, I chose a better outfit to attend the dinner where we shall put on new clothes as a tradition of this event. Indeed, it was a wonderful night with lion dance performance, and meeting some new friends from uni.

As in Nian Chu 1 (first day of the year), as I stated above, I put on the new red outfit after washing up in the morning. Thanks for my family called me up that day and wishing my happy chinese new year while passing the phone around to the relatives. It made me have the new year atmosphere and I likewise feel like celebrating together with them. Listening to the new year songs, cheerfulness has been brought up all over the room. It is really enjoy to listen those songs in the right time...

5 Seasons Birmingham....

10-02-2010 is really a great day. We encounter 5 seasons in a day, from sunny --> groomy --> rain --> sleet --> snow!! All these happened in just 10 minutes time I suppose. Well, this is so typical UK weather that ppl says you can't experience these in other countries, so should I be grateful? @.@

And also, today is my buddy's birthday. Thinking back, we have been good friend for 14 years, and gonna be the 15th in 2010!! How terrific, even though we are being apart from each other, yet still remaining the friendship we got. To say feeling grateful to have this friend would just be an understatement, frankly. Reminiscing the moment we had together, he really helped me a lot throughout my student life~ haha...

Well, everyone is going back to Tawau and dropping us a bombshell that announcing so loudly in facebook like "Tawau I am BACK!!" and "Tawau I love you" things like that.. lol~ It is really enjoying moment I suppose, yet I have to prepare myself for not celebrating CNY back in twu for 4 years at least~ humm.. yes, have fun in uk!

And today, she is going back too~ haha, as she said last night, "going back to the background of webcam which I am very familiar with." lol~~ this reminds me the period of time after A level exam, and doing the yearbook in her house everyday.. haha... Long live memories!!

Learning..

Meeting obstacles in studies really doesn't feel good. It has been a while I didn't really use my brain to figure things out. I wonder is it I am too rely on the solutions provided by lecturers, or just simply I've become more and more stupid and lazy...

Anyhow, life is all about learning. Thanks to someone comforts, saying not that I am stupid now, is just life is all about learning. It is usual for us to meet any problems in our lectures and homework, or else why is the tutorial class, or why is the lecturers for? yea, true.. somehow I have to be hardworking to catch up the studies.. Don really feeling like wasting parent's money, spending so much to send me overseas for my tertiary education and i can get nothing back.. >.<

Well, wish myself good luck in my studies, as well as everyone facing the same prob with me.. Good Luck!! and have fun in the studies~!! try to be narcissism sometimes, don be too inferior ^^ you are the best!

24 hours Fun~ (05-06 Feb)

"Let's go to Dragon BBQ tonight!" my coursemate, Titus uttered in the middle of a dull and boring lecture. This little announcement, surprisingly, enlightened our day more than what we expected. Traveling to downtown by train immidiate after our last lecture of the day, without getting home to change or keep our bag, we looked exactly like the high school boys going to town after their school. Lol, however, we aren't that young anymore for ppl to misunderstand our actual age >.<

5pm is too early for dinner, so that we decided to play 2 games of bowling first. Sadly, I didn't know how to play well anymore. However, it brought up a lot of memories... Reminiscing~~ and another filling BBQ dinner again, and "The Book of Eli" after that and home by 11pm. Is a nice movie though..

Then, saturday, badminton from 10-12pm.. oh yea, it feels really good after getting sweat. Again, dinner at my "jie jie's" house together with her colleagues, we had another wonderful dinner. I learnt how to make a "bao", and gained knowledge on some cooking stuff again. Wow, chinese cooking is really complicated and amazing.. haha.. Well then, the night just end up with some games and chitchatting, which is kinda fun.

So basically, I had like 24 hours of fun.. It is quite a nice weekend~ ^^

Diary 24th - 31st Jan

The fabulous week in the month! One of my "temporary resident" has left today, which caused my room to the state of pin-drop silence. Lol..

With an accompanion around, time really flies in lightning speed. Without your notice it is already midnight, and had passed my usual bedtime. Even so, I still enjoy it ^^

I really had a wonderful "Tawau Week". First of all, chit-chatting and catching up the most updated life of my gang, and met the other Tawau mates in Hull, together with some other from Liverpool and Manchester. Wow, really a fantastic moment. Thanks Ramsah and Wendy for preparing us a wonderful meal. It was really delicious and sufficient to fill up my blackhole stomach. Haha.. And in the 2nd day, each and everyone of us cooked together, and had lots of fun in the kitchen! Fortunately we didn't mess up everything, yet produced some "eatable" food ^^ muahahahha...

At night, as usual what a friends gathering would do - pillow talk! Lol, it sounds gay but in fact it doesn't. We just sit together in Wendy's bed, and talk about east south west north. It is really good, and I know more about my friend, my "sister" ^^

Ah well, basically these are my activities upon Tom's visit to UK for his interview. Again, finger crossed for him to be accepted as a Medicine student.. ^^

Good Thing Missed Out!!!

Today Tom and me saw a long sleeve shirt in Topman which just cost 1 pound! Our brilliant Tom was acting smart, being lazy and put back the shirt to the rack and said, "Don worry no ppl will get the shirt." So, we just walked around the shop and BEFORE LONG, when we got back to the rack, THE SHIRT WAS IN ONE GUY'S HAND!! We were so frustrated and feeling like stabbing ourselves (feeling to stab Tom really hard for me). What's more, the f**king guy as if he knows Chinese very well. By misunderstanding what I had uttered to Tom, he just trying to scold me and this really brought up the word "wtf" from deep inside me. Huh.. What a day....

Another thing is, Tom has no confident on his interview today. He said his English is the main problem. However, I really hope that he could enter the uni this year! No matter is Birm or any other uni he had applied this time. Finger crossed!!

A Fantastic Day ^.^

Haha... Even though I have been waiting in the airport for 2 hours, yet it worth it! It was really good to see Tom when he came out from the arrival hall. Lol.. Well, I wonder is it because of friend from the same town is coming over, or he would be my future flatmate. >.<

Well, spending time together with him these two days really made me recalling the time back in Tawau.Reminicing the moment we had together, and catching up with the other friends' life. I really enjoyed it very much, haha.. With him around, this room in UK is really like my "home". Walking home is not a just ordinary "walking", but full of anticipation and happiness. There is somebody at home to talk with. lol, just last night, without realisation it was already 11.30pm. Usually it is already my bedtime, but I really didn't noticed that until then. Time flies, when we are enjoying the moment. When I used to be alone, the night time could fairly pass that quick. Haha.. Having an accompanion is always a good thing!

And to further beautify my day, my lovely laptop has been upgraded to Window 7 at last! Wow, the graphic and screen resolution are amazing! It used up less RAM than vista, but creating an effect of almost double performance from vista. Bravo, Microsoft!!

I have been anticipating for the day to come! Tom is coming over tmr!! Yeah, I am really excited about it as he may act as my future accompanion for 3 years if he able to get a place in Birmingham University. Well, finger crossed that he can pass the interview and being accepted as part of us!

It may sounds funny, but I am really happy and looking forward to see him! I don know whether it is because I am still strongly bonded to Tawau, which is not quite a good sign. That means that I couldn't really adapt to the life here, make new friends be a part of Birm Uni. Humm...

Anyway, he wil be arriving in another 12 hours. I can't wait to see my mate!

Principles of Life~

I just read an interesting email this afternoon, and it teaches us the simple principles of having a happy life. Hereby, I would like to share with everyone.

Work like you don need the money
Love like nobody ever hurts you
Dance like nobody is watching
Sing like nobody is listening
Live as if this was the paradise on earth

Well, based on these prinsiples, I suppose we could enjoy our lifes even when we faced any obstacles in the future. Guys, keep it up on what you guys up to; Stay happily wherever you are; treat problems and difficulties with a smile!!

Here comes the work!

Finally, the very first assignments of the term has come, and furthermore it comes 4 in one time =.= I have not expected that much, so the lecturer was just like dropping a bomb to me today. Funny thing is I observed that most of the coursemates seem nothing towards it, and I came to a realisation that they are just aiming for a "pass" for their first year >.< I am not looking down or feel something for it, just that maybe we can set our target better even though we just need a 'pass' to go into 2nd year?

Well, I was distributed into a new group, with 2 coursemates that I know them better. The rest are totally new to me, and finger crossed that they are responsible ones, meanwhile friendly and helpful.

And now, the first report submission would be 8 days later. But none of them discuss about what should we bring up in the first meeting this Thursday? It is ridiculous! We have tons of work to do for the first submission and we are not doing anything until the first meeting? They want to spend the whole weekend and burning the midnight oil to complete the task before deadline? Humm, I hope this tradegy won't happen in my group. Haiz.. God bless..

1st day in Spring Term..

Well, here comes my 2nd term of the year! It is a whole new experience though, walking to school in snow, and somemore, SWEATING IN THE SNOWING WEATHER!! It sounds ridiculous, but is true =.= perhaps my Ted Baker kept me too warm? haha..

For the beginning of the day, as expected, it is so difficult to get up from the warm and cosy duvet! I had been struggling and fighting with myself for more than 20 mins, and eventually woke up at 8.25 (which had exceed 25 mins from what i planned), do some routine job --> washing up, prepare breakfast n lunch box. Leaving home at 9.30am, walked in lightning speed and got to school in 14 mins! And... the schooling day just begins!

As for the first night of the schooling days, i wonder why am i so free, but forcing myself to stay awake at least until 11.30pm, or else i would feel like the time has been wasted. Lol, what kind of logic is this?? haha, anyhow, I have another reason to stay awake, as to wish my childhood friend, DAVID TAN, the very first birthday greeting on his 21-year-old!! Well, stay tuned!

Lastly, three months just passed tremendously, and I hope it will be the same for the following 6 months! I'm looking forward for my 2nd year, as TOM MAY BE COMING OVER? and there would be more msian to study in the same course. And by then, I suppose i won't be that boring and liveless anymore? God bless....

Frozy the snowman~~

It has been snowing for more than 10 hours today since morning, and the snow is like 5cm thick on the ground! You will leave nothing but footprints with any step you put on.. How wonderful and fascinating for ppl from tropical country like me!

In fact, i was doing nothing for the whole day and just staying inside the room enjoying the snow view. However, at night, two of my housemates say let's build a snowman! In no time at all I become vigour and energytic (probably is the first activity that would colour up my day ever since I came back from my trip), and rush down to the courtyard and build a snowman together!

Well, may this cute and smiley snowman bless everyone of us to have a fantastic 2010! Happy New Year my family and friends !!

Faith

Yea, finally i've joined my very first Baha'i prayer meeting in Birmingham today. The people are nice, friendly and helpful. I am really glad to know them, and will try my best to attend every meetings as well as activities. It is all about spiritual growth and broaden your mind and thought to the world, what the faith really do is just teaching us humanity and be good to everybody. That is what everyone of us shall do isn't it?

Ah well, i'm typing this post with shivering hands as outside is -6 degree now! Even inside my room is still cold even i've switched on two heaters to the maximum power. And the worse thing is now is just the beginning of the winter! I really couldn't imagine what would happened during mid-winter... Frozy the snowman would be everywhere~~~ haa

Back in Birm!!

Finally.... After a 13 days xmas + new year vacation in london, liverpool and manchester, and now i'm home!! It is a hard task trying to tuned back to the quiet life that i had for three months as I've get used to awake by all kinds of noises from people in the past 13 days. Haha, what a sad thing a sounds terribly lonely >.<

Well, I had a lot of fun with my old friends, and also those I just knew them during the trip! Without you people, the very first xmas moment for me in UK would be really dull and colourless! Hehe, thank you once again, and happy new year!!

By the way, I've learnt something useful from the trip too. It is not all about enjoying, while some living experience and how to face our life! I am not good in expressing those things by words, so, mayb I will talk to whoever someday later if you are interested and can ask me in person~

And lastly, once again i have to say, friends are really important when you're away from your home. It really had warmth my heart when my good friends in Manchester sent me to the train station. It may sounds ridiculous and like a tiny thing to them, but it really mattered a lot to me! Thank you guys ^^
