mind thinking..

Keeping myself free for 5 days continuously, my brain has non-stop thinking of all kinds of things, how should i overcome the next term lectures? can i really do well in the exam? how to improve my knowledge? huh. i wonder why am i thinking all those stuff, perhaps i'm too free and nothing else to do? I need to get my time filled up, or else i would be dead of giving myself pressure. Any other good suggestion to relax myself? >.<

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow~~

It was a sunny morning and ironically was sleeting in the same time. Well, again, a typical UK weather that we can see like 3 seasons happened in the same time in the same day. ^.^

However, in the blinking of an eye, like just 3~4 second time, the sky turned dark all of a sudden, and START SNOWING!! The wind was so strong that the snow is almost falling horizontally as what i seen from the window! All the residents in the house are so excited, and few of us bring our camera in the same time to the kitchen and capture the view of snowing. It is somehow incredible and happy to have a WHITE CHRISTMAS! There are some photos taken by me and I just simply post them here.

Snowing during the Christmas season is really fantastic. Maybe it sounds ridiculous for the local, but for a foreigner came from a tropical country, i bet each and everyone of us shares the same feeling, don't we? Well my friends, let's enjoy the first real WHITE CHRISTMS together! It would be fun!

And taking this opportunity, I would like to wish all of my friends, and also family members, MERRT CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!! ALL THE BEST AND TAKE CARE ^.^

Incredible ~.~

Today, I've seen something really incredible that I never observed thing like this before in my entire life! It has been more than 3 decades that my father has moustache but today, 15/12/2009 (Malaysia time zone, GMT +8), HE SHAVED IT OFF!! I was shocked when I realised it through skype! oh gosh. I think I have to take time to get used of my father new look, Frankie Chua without moustache version =.='' oh well, wish my father has a new start for his whole new look! haha.....................~.~

what a day =.=

What a time-wasting holiday. I had spent the whole 24 hours wondering just inside these two places - my room and kitchen. Well, what've i done?

Solving Sudoku in the morning is the greatest achievement of the day. Haha, sudoku in iPhone when i got up from the bed, and killer sudoku after my washing up!

Afternoon is all about game. HON with tom and cousin for 4 matches, and catched up with somebody in twu! As the previous post, keeping in touch with friend is really important, so today could be a good start in maintaining the friendship for everybody.

After all, seems like i have misused the holiday. Wish to do more readings and doing something to improve myself tmr! god bless =p

Catching up*

Well, thanks for someone showing interest and urging me to update this blog. I appreciate it very much ^^

In fact, I've learnt something from the past few days. It is very important for us to keep in touch and catching up with someone's life, especially to our friends that we care very much. We may be very close to someone all along, but once we get apart from each other, we will have all kinds of reasons and excuses for the relationship to be abaddoned. The most common one, "oh, he may be busy recently and just not to bother his life", or "well, I have my things to work on. Why don he just look for me instead of asking me to approach him". All these may sound familiar to us right?

However, if we really don't wish to lose any friends, we should take the initiative to catch up with each other. Just an email or a text message will do. I bet one would be really grateful if he/she received a greeting message from his/her friend. Please don look down to a simple greeting text, that is a powerful tool to maintain a friendship!

So, don hesitate to send your regards to your friend whenever you think of him. Don't be afraid of there is no common topic between you. A simple catching up with each other's life is definitely more than enough. Right, move on and maintain the friendship guys! It is really a sad news if a pair of friend just lost their contacts! Cheers~

"Day of Genting"

Wow!! Imagine the moment you opened your eyes and what appear is only FOG!! The maximum distance you can see is only around 50~60 metres! Haha. It makes me recall the view in Genting Highlands! Even though it is 0 degree outside, but i could still sleep until 9.30am this morning inside my warm duvet. What else could be better than this heavenly sleeping condition >.<

Meanwhile, just to show something that I've learnt in my degree course. It is not perfect apparently, but could be considered as a good start perhaps??

Oh yes! And one more thing, I had made a decision last night, to not thinking of moving out anymore! as the chinese says, 既来之,则安之~ So, wish me luck for the next seven monthes!! ^^

Property found!!

At last, I found a place to move in!

Well, this is a 1-bed flat with fitted kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a living room! Though it is above a shop, the interior seems not too bad for a student to live in. According to google map, it takes 15 mins to walk to the uni, yet i just spent 10 mins to walk! There are quite a lot of shops nearby, and a big Sainsbury is just within a stone-throw distance!

However, I'm still considering whether to move out or not. Awaiting some advice from my parents. Finger crossed!!

New Recipe formed!!

Orange Chicken

Ingredient :
1) Chicken breast fillet
2) Orange
3) Spring sprout (a.k.a tauge)
4) Potato slices

Prosedure:
1) Firstly, cut the fillets into small pieces, peel off the orange.
2) Season the fillets and potato slices with soy sauce, orange skin, and squeeze some juice onto it. Leave it for 10~15 mins
3) Fry the fillets and potato slices until the chicken is 80% cooked, take it out from the pan.
4) Fry the spring sprout for 5 mins at least, and do some seasoning with oyster sauce/salt.
5) Put the fillets and spring sprout and fry them all together.

The food is now ready to be served ^^

Property viewing day

Well, I had been to view 2 properties today. First one, good location but terrible condition of bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. LOL, basically, I can say is literally not a place for a person to stay even with freaking cheap price and a prime location that sits right in the heart of Selly Oak.

As for 2nd property, oh yea i would consider that place if i ever had a car. The bedroom is big, with ensuite bathroom, yet the kitchen is horrible! Oil spink all around the stove and working place. Oh gosh, or perhaps this is their living style? I wonder~

However, one of the housemate is lovely and kind. He is a wine tester! How great is it. Even though he looks young, which i suppose the wine tester would be an old folks so that they would have lots of experience in all kinds of wine. Well, apparently i were wrong all the time! haha.. Anyhow, at least I have learnt something today.

In short, my effort for looking a new house proved in vain today. While my dad says he might buy a property with my staying as the first priority. Hope that i would be a good investment, while i can stay in a place comfortably. God bless i can find a better place to stay in as soon as possible! finger crossed~

Birmingham Life~

So this is my 70th day in Birmingham! Wow, time really flies in termendous speed that we hardly could realised about it! I bet all of my friends feel the same way, and also wish them would enjoy their life in UK !

Since it has been that long for me staying in Birmingham, so what had exactly happened? well, it would take me ages to finish typing everything, lol! Let's start recording my life today, as a remembrance for the opening of my blog! Good luck to myself, and thanks for reading this opening post~ Have a nice day mate.
